The Amway transformation finally begins. Take a look at the new logos that will be used over the next year to ease the transformation from Quixtar to the more hated name of Amway.

Don't believe it? Just direct all your questions to Steve Lieberman, after all he signed the notice that was kept from anyone under Platinum:

So why such a slow roll out of the name change? What are they afraid of? Why not just announce it and change it? Let's see what all they have to say:
As noted above, March 2008 also marks the start of media advertising and public relations for the new AMWAY Global brand. We’ll be giving you all the details of the multimedia, multimillion-dollar campaign – messaging, media, and dates – during the coming weeks and months.

Last question: Why spend "multimillion[s of]dollar[s]" (I heard almost 1/2 billion) on a campaign to make a branding name (Amway) seem like a good thing when they already claim there is nothing wrong with it in the first place, hence switching back to it, when that could be distributed in bonuses to Quixtar IBOs who unanimously voted (by proxy of the IBOAI) not to change the name?

Howdy,
Thanks for the kind words on the other blog :)
I did attend the book study last night (the introduction of it) and there were about 40 really nice people from all walks of life in attendance. The four hours in the car with one of the few folks on the Team where I live proved to be every bit as good. We got to know each other.
I also found out about Men's Leadership for Friday. Four hours one-way. Due to my work it would take a miracle to be able to go, and when I mentioned this at the book study, a group of guys circled up and prayed for a miracle for me.
This morning I was down to my last hope. The guy asked me what was so important. So I told him.
He agreed to work in my place so I can go. Now the other part of the miracle would involve my lovely bride. Convincing her may present a challenge. Lets just say she isn't quite as fired up as me. If you don't mind, a little prayer from ya'll might help. Sorry if this is kinda long but there aren't many folks to talk to at 6:45 am.
Thank both of you for staying strong.
Ian from Texas
PS
Look in the mirror.
Another "transformation"is underway
I think it will be a good one.
Ian
Ian,
Of course we will keep you and your wife in our prayers. And don't worry, she will be excited in time as well. It will just come when she is ready.
Best wishes!
